So we had about 50 people over this evening for desserts and such. ‘Cause we’re extroverts like that. Not. I mean, at least I’m not. But it was nice anyway. It’s a quarter after 11 and the kids are still awake, but no school tomorrow, so no harm, no foul.
Somehow I think only one additional person found out that I blog, although I’m not entirely sure who Taxman’s relatives spoke to. Eh, I don’t blog about them that much anyway.
There was a bizarre dynamic, in that a bunch of people are ones that we’ve met only since we arrived, but others were ones who were in attendance at our wedding, exactly 10 years ago (כ”ו כסלו התש”ס).
Not enough people ate my Coffee Blond Brownies, preferring my sister-in-law’s double-layer brownie-chocolate chip cookie bars and her warm cheese puffs (which, admittedly, were incredible), but I am more than happy to stash those in the freezer. They are awesome and now they are mine for days to come!
Our house is finally put together–the threat of 50 people coming over will do that–but my true contribution was making sure that Baila and Gila got to meet each other. Maybe we’ll all road-trip over to Nes Tziona in a couple of weeks, assuming I’ve recovered my senses…
