Sarah Palin’s speech included the following statement:
“(T)his is America, and every woman can walk through every door of opportunity.”
In her ideal America, however, the doors of Planned Parenthoods, abortion clinics, and other healthcare providers, would cease to exist.
Nuh-uh. You know, if she can govern while raising five kids (even firing the governor’s personal chef!), more power to her. But for some women, making the most of their opportunity does not include children conceived at x time, under y circumstance, with z challenges.
Why is it that women should be trusted with the Vice Presidency, but not with their own reproductive decisions?
